The BOD is dedicated to fixing the trash chute. When the chute is clogged we have to pay somebody to purge the trash chute and it can cost anywhere from $50 – $150 to purge the chute. That’s roughly $1.50 – $4.60 per unit. If it’s clogged then please walk it down to the dumpster at the parking level.
The BOD has two offers to fix the chute and it will cost roughly $9,500 to repair. We learned that the chute we have is generally used in hospitals to dispose of clothing and was not designed to handle our situation. The repair will upgrade to handle the trash that we need to dispose of.
